Behind every delayed diagnosis is a person, a family, and a harder road ahead. We’re seeing advanced breast cancer treatments costing up to $120,000 per episode for unscreened patients, that’s over $44,000 more than those who were screened. These aren’t just numbers. They represent thousands of women and families facing more intensive treatments that could have been caught earlier.

Since our founding in 1896 by the Sisters of Charity Leavenworth, St. Mary’s has been driven by its mission to heal and serve those in our community who are vulnerable and underserved. So much has changed in healthcare over the last 128 years; however, this commitment will always remain at our core. It’s how we began, it’s who we are today, and who we always will be.

NETRF’s 2020 Annual Report marks not only an extraordinary year, but NETRF’s 15th Anniversary. In 2020, we, like you, faced challenges unlike any others in our history. You were there for us and we hope, through our educational resources and conversations, we were there for you too. We have been amazed at the continuing support from our community during COVID and so proud that we could continue to fund our researchers so they can continue their vital work.
