40 Years of caring year-end appeal

Forty years ago, on November 12, 1980, a small community of volunteers made a big dream a reality. Mount Evans Hospice became one of the first three hospices in the State of Colorado. Thank you for helping us grow and thrive for 40 years! During Mount Evans’ first year, we gave comfort to 15 patients. Last year, we cared for more than 2,100 mountain residents across four counties regardless of their ability to pay. In 2020, that number will be even higher.

With your help, we will get through this together

Dear Mountain Neighbor, In these weeks of sheltering in place, and in a world vastly changed, one thing remains the same – the heart and love that our Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice clinicians invest in their patients. In 40 years of providing home health, palliative care, hospice services, and grief and bereavement support, nothing has stopped our incredible nurses, physicians, therapists, social workers and chaplains from caring for the most vulnerable and underserved in our communities – And COVID-19 won’t stop us either!

Annual Report - Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation

NETRF’s 2020 Annual Report marks not only an extraordinary year, but NETRF’s 15th Anniversary. In 2020, we, like you, faced challenges unlike any others in our history. You were there for us and we hope, through our educational resources and conversations, we were there for you too. We have been amazed at the continuing support from our community during COVID and so proud that we could continue to fund our researchers so they can continue their vital work.

An outpouring of love for a NET patient with 'Sass'

There wasn’t an empty bike to be found in the studio at Cyclebar Hilltop in Virginia Beach on June 5th. The seats had been sold out for days. Everyone wanted to be a part of Sarah McCallum’s indoor cycling class. Known as Sass, she’s helped people ‘rock their ride’ for the last two years, serving as a mentor, coach and inspiration to her riders. It’s more than a job to her or a work-out, she likens her classes to group therapy (albeit the kind of therapy where you sweat a lot).
