We’re seeing advanced breast cancer treatments costing up to $120,000 per episode for unscreened patients, that’s over $44,000 more than those who were screened. These aren’t just numbers. They represent thousands of women and families facing more intensive treatments that could have been caught earlier.

Mammograms Save Moms - 2018 - Marva's story

Marva chose to pursue the most aggressive treatment and have both her breasts surgically removed. The driving force behind Marva’s decision is a toddler named Jerron Thomas or JT for short. Marva had a long journey to parenthood that ended happily with the adoption of a boy she calls her miracle and shining light.

Mammograms Save Moms social media campaign

Mammograms Save Moms was a mini-campaign that was launched during the month of May to raise awareness for Centura Health Breast Care’s mammography services. The campaign featured three patients. Each of the posts were individually boosted on the Facebook pages of St. Anthony Hospital, Avista Adventist Hospital, St. Anthony North Health Campus, St. Anthony Summit Medical Center and Longmont United Hospital.
